How to Read Your Energy Meter

The screen on your meter switches between 3 displays. To see your meter reading, please use the 'IMPRT' screen.

If the screen moves too quickly for you to take note of the value, you can follow these steps:

• Hold OK until it enters the 'Main Menu', you will see 'Billing' appear
• Using the arrows, scroll to 'Info' (2 pushes of the > button)
• Hold OK until it enters the 'Info' sub-menu, you will see 'Join' appear
• Using the arrows, scroll to 'WattH' (10 pushes of the > button)
• Hold OK until it enters the 'WattH' sub-menu
• It will now display IMPRT with a value underneath. Please use this when submitting your meter reading
• After a minute of inactivity the meter will revert back to its default display

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

• Press A until the screen shows Rate 01 Act Imp and provided rate 1
• Then hold the B button for 5 seconds
• Then press A
• Rate 2 will then appear

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

• Hold B button down for 5 to 10 seconds until RATE 01 ACT shows
• Then Press A button for RATE 02 ACT and again for RATE 03 ACT (if 3 rates are required)

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

• Press the 'A' button to activate the backlight and continue to press 'A' until you see 'Total Active Import' - the number below is your meter reading
• If you have a multi-rate tariff, any additional readings can be accessed by pressing the 'A' button

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

You will need to check if the contract you are selling is single rate or multi rate to be able to take the correct readings from the meter.

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

• Press Select until R1 KWH shows
• Continue to press select to obtain R2 KWH and R3 KWH if required
• Any screen that is not a rate in KWH is NOT the reading

To obtain reading or multi rate readings:

• Press Cycle Display to run through the screens to obtain R01, R02 and R03 where required
